1. Quotes & Estimates

All project quotes are free, itemised, and fixed-price for 30 days. Any changes to the approved scope must be confirmed through a written change order before additional work begins.

2. Payments

Our standard payment schedule is 30% on booking, 40% at the agreed mid-project milestone, and 30% upon final handover. All payment requirements will be clearly stated in the project agreement.

3. Project Scheduling

The agreed milestone schedule forms part of the project plan. Weather conditions, permits, supplier delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect completion dates.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing reasonable site access, approving designs and materials on time, and communicating any project-related requirements promptly.

5. Materials & Selections

Material selections must be confirmed within the deadlines provided in the project plan. Delays caused by late approvals or requested changes may affect the project schedule and cost.

6. Workmanship Warranty

All eligible workmanship completed by Create Better Homes is covered by a 5-year workmanship warranty, subject to the terms of the project agreement. Manufacturer warranties are transferred to the client where applicable.

7. Insurance & Liability

Create Better Homes maintains appropriate business insurance for its operations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability is limited to the value specified in the signed project agreement.

8. Changes & Additional Work

Requested changes, upgrades, or additional services must be approved in writing before work begins. Any resulting cost or schedule adjustment will be communicated clearly to the client.

9. Cancellation & Termination

Either party may request termination in accordance with the signed project agreement. Completed work, approved expenses, ordered materials, and applicable cancellation charges may be billed up to the termination date.

10. Agreement & Updates

By engaging Create Better Homes for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable project agreement. We may update these terms when necessary, with the latest version made available on our website.

1. Deposits

Booking deposits are fully refundable within 48 hours of payment, no questions asked.

2. After 48 hours

Your deposit converts to a scheduling credit. If a crew has already been assigned, a 15% administration fee applies to cancellation.

3. Materials

Special-order items become non-returnable once placed with the manufacturer. Stocked, unused items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

4. Defective goods

Any defective material is replaced or repaired free of charge if reported within 7 days of delivery.

5. Workmanship claims

Under the 5-year workmanship warranty, covered repairs are completed free of charge with a 72-hour response time.

6. How to claim

Email refunds@Create Better Homes.com with your invoice number. Every claim is acknowledged within 1 business day and resolved within 10 business days.
